Rochester Hockey Club

The Onyx is home to the Rochester Hockey Club, which is one of the largest associations in the state with over 50 teams at the 'B' level. Some of the features include:
- All practices and league games held at the Onyx.
- Mite through Midget divisions (Squirts, Pee Wees, Bantams and Midgets compete in district playoffs).
- Players placed on teams based on evaluation skate held at the beginning of the fall season.
- Coaching education program for volunteer coaches.

The Rochester Hockey Club is also the administrative body for the Rochester Rattlers, a travel organization with 'A' and 'AA' teams from the Squirt-Midget levels as well as girls teams. The Rattlers program is ideal for players who are looking for outside competition. Players are selected at individual team tryouts prior to the beginning of the fall season.
