The Onyx-Suburban Skating Academy was established in the fall of 1999 and was granted full membership status with U.S. Figure Skating in the spring of 2002. The club offers a coaching staff for all levels of skaters from beginner to competitive in singles, pairs, and dance. Our program runs all year round at the beautiful Onyx Ice Arena in Rochester, Michigan and Suburban Ice-Macomb in Macomb, Michigan. We are very proud to be the home club for the Phoenix Synchronized Skating program. Our mission is to cultivate a safe and supportive environment that provides for the advancement of our members in all disciplines and levels of figure skating.
