- LEAGUE FORMAT
Teams may register in Mite through Midget age classifications in the following divisions (teams will only play teams in the division in which they are registered):
- Gold Division
Each team may roster a maximum of three players who competed at the A, AA, Junior Varsity or Varsity level during the fall/winter 2005-06 season
- Silver Division
No players who competed at the A, AA, AAA, Junior Varsity or Varsity level during the fall/winter 2005-06 season
- Age Classification (Birth Years)
- Mite (1998 & 1999)
- Squirt (1996 & 1997)
- Pee Wee (1994 & 1995)
- Bantam (1992 & 1993)
- Midget (1990 & 1991)
- ELEVEN-GAME GUARANTEE!
Games will be played at the Onyx-Rochester Ice Arena and Suburban Ice-Macomb. All teams will play ten league games and all teams will make the playoffs. Playoffs will be a single-loss elimination format.
- DISCOUNTED PRACTICE RATES!
Practice time can be purchased at the Onyx and/or Suburban Ice-Macomb at a discounted rate depending on availability.
- HOCKEY SCHOOL DISCOUNTS!
All players rostered on Suburban Showdown teams will be eligible for a 10% discount toward Suburban Hockey Schools during the summer of 2006 if they register by April 30.
- AWARDS!
Individual playoff championship and finalist awards will be provided.
- USA HOCKEY/MAHA REGISTRATION
All players and teams must be registered with the USA Hockey/MAHA District Registrar before their first game. Teams are responsible for their own USA Hockey/MAHA registration fees. Maximum 20 players per team.
- FINAL ROSTERS
There will be no roster changes made after Monday, April 10.
- DUAL ROSTERING
Players may be rostered on two teams, provided that the teams are not in the same division (i.e. a player on a team in the Mite Gold Division may also be rostered on a team in the Mite Silver Division).

Individual Registration League

- LEAGUE FORMAT
Individual players who did not compete at the A, AA, AAA, Junior Varsity or Varsity level during the fall/winter 2005-06 season are eligible to register. All teams in the Individual Registration League will be comprised of players who registered as individuals. There will be no games against teams from the Team Registration League.
- DIVISIONS OFFERED
- Mite (1998 & 1999)
- Squirt (1996 & 1997)
- Pee Wee (1994 & 1995)
- Bantam (1992 & 1993)
- Girls (ages 7-14)
- FOURTEEN SKATES!
All players will participate in an evaluation skate on Sunday, April 2 so that teams can be formed. Each team will then be provided with a schedule that has two practices and 11 league games (11-minute stop-time periods) that will be played at the Onyx-Rochester Ice Arena and Suburban Ice-Macomb. All teams will make the playoffs. Playoffs will be a single-loss elimination format.
- PLAY WITH FRIENDS!
Although players will be evaluated and assigned to teams to ensure a competitive level within each division, we will try to honor requests for friends to play together on the same team whenever possible. Please indicate on your registration form if you would like to play on the same team as a friend. NOTE: All players requesting to play together MUST attend the evaluation skate.
- UNIFORMS!
Players will be provided with a team jersey and socks prior to the first game.
- AWARDS!

- REGISTRATION
Full payment of $225 is due with registration. Make checks payable to “Suburban Ice.” No refunds will be offered after Monday, March 27. Prior to that time, there will be a $25 fee on all cancellations. A $40 fee will be assessed for all NSF checks. Click here for online registration!
- USA HOCKEY REGISTRATION
All players must be registered with USA Hockey before their first game. Players are responsible to attach a copy of their USA Hockey IMR (Individual Membership Registration) to the registration form. If you do not have a copy of this form or card, a copy of your team’s fall roster will be sufficient. Players who are not currently registered with USA Hockey or who are unable to provide proof of registration/insurance need to register online at www.usahockeyregistration.com and pay the $30 fee required by USA Hockey.
- DUAL ROSTERING
Players may be rostered on two teams, provided that the teams are not in the same division (i.e. a player on a team in the Individual Registration League may also be rostered on a team in the Team Registration League).
